About

Good Ideas Gone Bad!

Those programs, devices, procedures, “services”, etc., that seemed like a real good idea at the time, but just weren’t thought through. Or weren’t executed well. Or weren’t controlled properly. Or weren’t protected from louder, more ingratiating bozos that warped the original ideas into the horrid perversities (or mildly annoying perversities, withal) that we’re forced to deal with on the consumer’s end.

We’re not necessarily intending to go after the big, big, obvious targets that everyone realizes are bad ideas (government, say), but those types of things that get into the flow of life and you just can’t get away from. We won’t completely shy away from pointing out egregious government idiocy, but we’ll try (no, honest, we really will try) not to belabor those points.

What we really want to do the most of, though, is provide a forum and opportunity for really good talk. We love intelligent conversations, with depth, flow, backing knowledge on display (I love it when someone can legitimately say to me “I DID write the book on this subject, and here’s why you’re wrong . . . .”) and a considerate give-and-take we all too seldom experience these days.

Enter, and be welcome!
